WorkForce and Sectors of Activity
The sectorial intervention is the strategy implemented by Emploi-Québec to
resolve the problems of the work force which are common to all businesses
functioning in a given sector. The strategy calls upon the mobilization of
businesses, workers, as well as expertise of the labour market.
Hence, representatives from businesses, unions, employee associations
are in the best possible position to acquire expertise on the problems of
the work force and gain the right ingredients to find solutions to those
problems.
It's the Direction générale adjointe de l'intervention sectorielle
(Associate Branch of Sectorial Intervention) that manages the sectorial
approach at Emploi-Québec.
