At the 60th Annual Conference of the Institute of Public Administration of Canada, held in 2008, Bernard Matte, then Assistant Deputy Minister of the Direction générale des politiques et de l’analyse stratégique of the Ministère de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale, gave a presentation entitled “Québec’s Employment Challenges: Outlook Facts.”
With “New World, New Society, New Public Administration” as its theme, the Conference provided a unique opportunity to discuss key issues in public administration, with an eye on the past and a view to the future.
