Emploi-Québec services fall into two categories: financial assistance and individual assistance. Financial assistance is provided through social solidarity services that ensure implementation and administration of last-resort financial assistance programs. These services are designed to support low-income individuals and families by encouraging them to enter the labour market and preventing them from relying on last-resort financial assistance. Social solidarity services provide assistance to individuals through personalized support designed to help recipients become independent and join the labour market.
