To help you find a job, we can:
For you to be eligible for this assistance, your impairment must cause a significant and persistent disability that makes you liable to encounter barriers in performing everyday activities.
The Contrat d’intégration au travail (employment integration contract, CIT) (PDF, 51 KB) measure facilitates the hiring and retention of persons with disabilities in normal work settings.
An employer who can provide you with the necessary framework and help follow up on your file may be eligible to receive a subsidy to address your special needs.
The job offered to you must be a vacant or newly created temporary or permanent position. You must work between 12 and 40 hours a week, depending on your potential and the employer’s needs.
The Programme de subventions aux entreprises adaptées (PDF, 901 KB) allows businesses recognized by Emploi-Québec to offer employment to persons with disabilities for whom standard workplaces are not accessible. The program can help you find a job that matches your needs, including basic training and a suitable work environment. Such jobs generally do not require a diploma, special qualification or even relevant experience.
Support is granted directly to the adapted business in the form of a wage subsidy. The duration of the subsidy varies on a case-by-case basis and can even be long-term. Emploi-Québec’s overall contribution allows adapted businesses to offer persons with disabilities gainful employment and adapt the workplace to meet these employees’ needs.
If you are unable to work in the short or medium term, we can facilitate your participation in community activities
that will help you acquire or maintain skills, behaviours or attitudes that will increase your chances of joining the labour market.
