Assistance for Immigrants and Visible Minorities
As well as being eligible for all employment assistance services, immigrants and members of a visible minority benefit from two programs created to address their specific needs.
- Employment Integration Program for Immigrants and Visible Minorities (PRIIME) : Administered by Emploi-Québec and provided in cooperation with the Ministère de l'Immigration et des Communautés culturelles and Investissement Québec, this program enables beneficiaries to gain their first work experience in Québec.
- Québec pluriel : This Emploi-Québec mentoring program aims to facilitate labour market entry of young people from cultural communities and visible minorities in the following six areas: Gatineau, Laval, Longueuil, Montréal, Québec and Sherbrooke.
