Youth

Emploi-Québec offers programs designed exclusively for young Québeckers :

  • Youth Alternative Program: helps social assistance recipients under age 25 acquire personal, social and vocational self-sufficiency.
  • Hats Off to You!: contest that promotes secondary- and college-level programs in which females make up less than a third of the total enrolment.
  • Découvrir. Discover a trade or profession: gives young people under age 25 a chance get short work experiences in a trade or occupation.
  • Jeunes en action: helps unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 24 overcome personal problems to facilitate their social and vocational integration.
  • Jeunes volontaires: offers young people between the ages of 16 and 29 an opportunity to acquire skills by carrying out a personal project.
  • Ma place au soleil: designed for young parents who have not completed secondary school.
  • Placement étudiant: helps students find jobs year-round.
  • Québec pluriel: mentoring program to help young people from cultural communities and visible minorities find employment.
