Members

The members of the Commission des partenaires du marché du travail (CPMT) are appointed by the government for a three-year term. They are chosen from among various labour market stakeholder groups so that employers, trade unions, community organizations and the education sector can be partners in defining workforce policies, directions, programs and measures as well as in managing services.

  • Daniel Boyer, Secretary General, Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ)
  • Pierre Lemieux, Vice-President, Union des producteurs agricoles
  • Réjean Parent, President, Centrale des syndicats du Québec
  • Daniel Roy, Director, Syndicat des Métallos
  • François Vaudreuil, President, Centrale des syndicats démocratiques (CSD)

Six members selected on the recommendation of the most representative business groups.

  • Yves-Thomas Dorval, President, Conseil du patronat du Québec
  • Florent Francœur, President and CEO, Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines et en relations industrielles agréés du Québec
  • Martin Thibault, President of the Board of Governors, Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec
  • Simon Prévost, President, Québec Manufacturers and Exporters
  • Martine Hébert, Vice-President Québec, Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses

Three members selected after consulting the most representative community organizations working in the areas of labour and employment, including a youth representative.

  • Mimi Pontbriand, Assistant Deputy Minister for Vocational and Technical Training and Continuing Education, Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport
  • Lynda Morin, Assistant Deputy Minister for Land Occupancy , Ministère des Affaires municipales, des Régions et de l'Occupation du territoire
  • Brian Girard, Assistant Deputy Minister for Policy and Public Corporations, Ministère du Développement économique, de l'Innovation et de l'Exportation

The guest member represents Québec’s French and English-language universities.
